A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Summer Lea Gilbert, 21, of La Porte, Texas, left this world unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

She was born on July 06, 1999 in Lawton, OK, the daughter of Pam & Sylvia (Guerra) Gilbert.

Summer was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be silly. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul.

Summer loved her family, friends and was willing to do anything for anyone at any given point in time. She loved to be surrounded by people, especially her family, she lived life her life to the fullest.

Most of all she loved and adored her son, he was her world. If you were lucky enough to be present when she gazed into his face, the pure joy radiating from her would blind you. Summer wanted nothing more for Miles than to have a wonderful life.

Survived by her Moms; Pam and Sylvia, Dad; David McElroy and Family. Sister; Latasha Gilbert and Family, Brother; Eric Ybarra and Family. Grandparents, Great -Grandparents, Nieces, Nephews, Tia's, Tio's, Cousins. As well as numerous friends, as well as her pup, Winnie Marie.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
