Obituary for Elvira Aguilar (Lucio)

Elvira Aguilar, 54, of La Porte, TX, joined her late husband Abel Aguilar in heaven on April 14, 2021. Elvira was born on January 25, 1967 to parents Mary Santana Lucio and Victor Lucio.

She is preceded in death by her eldest sibling, Guadalupe Lucio Morales and grandson Nathan Alexander Lucio.

Left to treasure her memory are her children Mary Varela (Robert); Christopher Lucio (Mayra); Andrew Lucio (Monica); step-daughter Elma Olivarez (Fred); siblings Richard Lucio; Kathy Lucio and Erica Hilton; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, 2 fur grandbabies and a countless number of nephews and nieces.

Elvira was born and raised in Pasadena, Texas. She worked in the fast-paced, food industry for a number of years. Her most recent occupation was a Home Healthcare Nurse. Elvira’s profession highlights her caring personality that everyone will miss dearly.

She loved being “GG” to her two great granddaughters and valued time spent with family, her most dearest treasures. She also enjoyed time at the beach and having fun with close friends and good music.

Elvira was most recognized by her beautiful long black hair, her captivating smile; and of course her manicured nails and lipstick! Neither will we soon forget her unique laugh, “keep it real attitude” and fearless living.

Elvira’s life was a blessing and her passing leaves a big heartache that only time can mend. She will be forever missed, always loved and never forgotten.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
