Janet came to Texas to attend her sister, Jennifer Rawlins funeral. She chose to stay in Texas and help raise her nieces and nephews. In the late 80’s Janet met Clemet Williams. They settled in La Porte, Texas and raised three children; Jamie Lawrence, Jennelle Lawrence and Jenill Williams. On January 20, 2001 Janet married Clement . When life threw her curve balls, Janet kept her faith and pulled through some very challenging issues. Janet believed in Christ and was faithful until the end. Janet went to Church one Sunday morning, enjoyed the service and did not make it to her personal home,
