Obituary for Corbett Lee Nettles
Corbett Lee Nettles was born January 18, 1974, in Eunice, LA to Barbara and James Nettles. His father was a wanderlust, which caused Corbett to live in several places throughout his lifetime. From Eunice they moved to Ecuador, South America. Now just a list in order of where he lived: Sommerville, TX, Reno, NV, Redmond, OR, Missoula, MT, Houston area: Brenham, TX, Brazoria, TX, Libby, Mt, Damon, TX, Nacogdoches, TX, Alvin, TX, Meeker, CO, De Borgia, MT, and Sitka, Alaska. Sitka is where Corbett spent his 4 years in high school. He was on the diving team and the academic decathlon, which he loved! He finally ended up in Alvin, TX
While living in Alvin, Corbett met Jennifer Roberts. A year after they met, Corbett and Jennifer married on October 17, 2017. At the time Corbett was working for his brother Robert as an electrician. After Robert passed away, Corbett took over the operation of the company.
Corbett was a loving, generous, spontaneous, playful, and thoughtful man. He enjoyed playing pranks and would often have his stepdaughters rolling their eyes at his dad jokes. It was evident to who ever met Corbett that he was a Godly man. It was obvious that he loved his wife and family dearly. He loved serving the Lord and had dedicated his life to God for the last nine years of his life. He and his wife felt blessed that they were equally yoked. It is a comfort to his wife and family that he is now with the Lord waiting for their arrival.
Corbett is preceded by his mother, Barbara Lambright and stepfather, Clint Lambright and his brother, Robert Nettles. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer and his stepchildren, Amanda Hundley and husband, Travis, Morgan Brocket, Lynnette Roberts, Heather Roberts, and Jessica Roberts. Others left to cherish his memory are his stepmom, Margaret Nettles; siblings, Otis Nettles and wife Lachelle and Melanie Ellenberg and husband Kenneth; grandchildren, Hank Hundley, and Cody Hundley; nieces and nephews, Kenneth Ellenberg III, Katelyn Nettles, Emily Nettles, Olivia Nettles, Gabriel Nettles, and Ethan Dugie. His pets, Rocky and Snickers will miss his presence.
