Katina Warren Sims, age 48, and long-time resident of La Porte went to her heavenly home on May 19, 2023. She was a soft-spoken beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend to family and acquaintances. Born on April 8, 1975 to Betty Jean Davis ( Warren)Smith and Richard Warren. She was dearly loved by her family. Katina married Edward Sims Sr. and together they had two children; Edward Sims Jr and daughter Kierra Sims. Katina had one grandson, Miles and one granddaughter, Jacqueline. She was a gentle soul who was kind, loving, compassionate, and friendly. We will miss her profoundly.

Katina was preceded by her mother Betty Smith.

In addition to family, friends and coworkers her memories will be mourned but cherished by her husband Edward Sims Sr, son Edward Jr, and wife Julia daughter Kierra; father Richard Warren and wife Paula, her sisters; Nicole Warren n- Gonzalez and husband Able, Shanette Smith and Tuprena Flix; one brother Bryan Smith and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and many friends.
