Carlos Orosco Sr. was born May 8, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Amelia Longoria and Joe Albert Orosco. He passed peacefully, with his family by his side on Wednesday, July 29, 2015
Carlos was a very energetic man with a great deal of generosity and love to share with his family and friends. He loved to fish (even if he didn’t catch anything) and build most anything. He was devoted to his wife and children and worked every day to enrich their lives. He loved his “puppies” and of course, The Texans.
Carlos is survived by his wife of 45 years, Josephine Ojeda Orosco. He is also survived by his children; Carlos (wife, Jennifer) Orosco Jr., Cecelia (husband, Roger) Aymond, Josie (husband, Brian) Hayes, Florinda (husband Rick) Soliz, Jose (fiancée Jennifer Wallen) Orosco and Thomas Orosco. He leaves behind a brother, Joe Orosco, a sister, Rosie Orosco, sister-in-law Angelia Ojeda Ramos and brother-in-law, Marshal Ojeda. There are 17 grandchildren that will miss his smile and fun ways as well as 14 great-grandchildren who will learn of him from the many stories that will be shared. He will also be missed by the many extended family and friends that have had the privilege of living and working with him over the years.
He is preceded by his parents, Amelia and Joe, a brother, Ernest Orosco and sister, Janie Orosco.
Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 5 pm tomorrow, July 31, 2015 and a celebration of life at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Stepping Stone Funeral Home.
